Running Wave confirmation by email, by midday on Saturday 6th June.

Race Registration information


On race day all runners must register at the Registration desks in the race headquarters on Histon & Impington Recreation Ground Centre to collect their race numbers and timing chip tags from the registration team from 8.15am to 9.15am (please collect Half Marathon numbers by 8.55am).


Please go to the appropriate registration desk dealing with your start time. Race numbers will be filed numerically.
Race numbers should be pinned on the front of each runner to ensure your time can be recorded at the finish. Safety pins will be provided. Please allow sufficient time before the race start to collect your number.

Final race information and participant race numbers will be emailed to runners the day before the event.


Race Start & Finish


The race start and finish take place at Histon & Impington Recreation Ground.
Flaming June Half Marathon starts at 9.15am
Flaming June 10k starts at 9.30am


Staggered start times


To ensure runner congestion on the course there will be three staggered starting wave times for the 10k and Half Marathon
We request that faster runners (sub 45 minutes for 10k, sub 1 hour 45 mins for Half Marathon) register for the first wave runners.


The Course


A map of the race routes is provided here.
The routes do involve crossing roads. Runners are asked to exercise due care at these points.
Water stations will be positioned at various positions around the course.


Race finish


The race finish is at Histon & Impington Recreation Ground. After crossing the finish line please stay in finish order in the funnel, and collect your drink and race memento.


Timing


The race uses chip timing. All runners will be provided with a chip timer that will be removed at the end of the run.
Please get in touch if there are any inaccuracies in the results once published.


Race results


Provisional results will be available on the Bonfire Burn website from 5pm on Sunday evening.


Parking


Parking is available at designated office car parks at the Vision Park, Histon
Cars will not be allowed to park at the Recreation Ground.


Changing, Toilets & Baggage


There are toilets for male and female runners at the race headquarters which also has a disabled toilet. There are separate male and female communal changing facilities at the Recreation Ground Centre and available on prior request
A designated manned area for the deposit of valuables and baggage will be provided in a dedicated area on the Recreation Ground. All baggage and valuables are left at the owner’s risk.
The race organisers will not take any responsibility for any losses or damage incurred.


Medical Support


MED-PTS Ambulance Services Ltd will be on hand at the race headquarters to assist. Please note you should seek medical advice from your local GP if you are in any doubt as to your health in competing in this event. The organisers will not be held responsible for any injury, accident, loss or damage that may arise before, during or after the event as a consequence of a competitor’s participation in the race.


Lost Children


Any child that becomes separated from their parents will be taken to the information desk at the race headquarters on Histon & Impington Recreation Ground.

Event Cancellation


If the event is cancelled due to weather conditions, refunds will not be made. A 50% discount to entry will be provided to the Flaming June 2027.


Refunds


Registration fee is non-refundable. Registrations can be transferred by contacting edds@edds.co.uk, giving full details of yourself and the new runner.
